Starting off the week right at Crusade

The men who know me, already knew the route.  YHC admittedly loves the Kenwood out and back route – it has hills, but it’s not brutal; it’s tucked away, but not “dog chasing me” tucked away; the lawns are all manicured, and in the summer, the sprinklers are going.  Yep, YHC loves the Kenwood route.

Devo: When Abraham and Lot separated, Abraham gave Lot first choice as to which land he wanted to settle in.  Lot chose the more prosperous Jordan valley – but this land also had the very sinful cities of Sodom and Gomorrah.  Lot chose the opportunity for increasing his wealth but along with that was the wickedness of the land.  And what did this result in – Lot finally had to flee from this land with just the clothes on his back – he lost all his wealth.  We as believers need to choose righteousness and not wealth tainted with sin.
