Five Turning Point pax, came out to Turning Point this morning to get better together, or at least with the lure of some hot chocolate.

The Pax gathered around YHC for a quick introduction, disclaimer, and prayer. After that, there was no need to put it off any longer. So, we started where we stood.

At this point, some of the pax grumbled about the pattern, while others tried to figure it out.

Mosey to the back parking lot.

Mosey to the brick pile. YHC passed out blocks to 1/2 the pax and bricks to the others.
Mosey with the blocks/bricks to the closest corner of the track.
Partner up, so each pair has 1 block and 2 bricks for partner exercises.
Partner 1 runs with the bricks to the hill, bear crawl up the hill, come down the stairs, and run back with the bricks.
Partner 2 starts the exercise with the block.
Flip-Flop until each exercise count is achieved.

Return the block/bricks to the pile
Circle up and plank until all exercises are complete.

Burpees – 11 OYO During this last set of burpees, YHC narrated the final 1.1 miles of the Disney Half Marathon, the event which Recall and his M were running at that time, and the finish Buttermaker and Canseco would be running the following day in the Disney Marathon.
If you haven’t figured it out by this point, a half marathon is 13.1 miles, or 131 tenths.
We did:
– 131 burpees
– 131 of each partner exercise
– 13 sets of other exercises with a count of 13 for each of those sets.
And, all without Wendy’s approval or a winkie.

Gather around for some hot cocoa. Unfortunately, the outlets we found were underpowered. So, our hot cocoa was underheated, making it more of a luke warm cocoa. But, we all have the memory of the chilly morning we tried.
