Simple But Difficult at Turning Point

F3 is a leadership organization that also happens to do physical workouts.

The mission of F3 is: To plant, serve and grow men’s small workout groups in order to reinvigorate male community leadership.

Weather: 50 degrees – pouring rain, made use of the breezeway and its numbers.

The Thang:

Intro, Disclaimer, Prayer and Lord’s Prayer. No flag so we skipped the Pledge of Allegiance.

Mosey down the breezeway to avoid the pouring rain and come back for the warmup exercises.

YHC should mention at this point that the “Planes, Trains & Automobiles” rule was in effect, meaning that if a plane flew overhead, a train was heard, or a car entered the parking lot that would result in 5 burpees. This rule rarely gets carried out, but today it happened 4 times in a row thanks to Booster coming in late and thanks to Glow Worm entering the parking lot twice when he arrived. So….

5 Burpees X 4 to comply with the PTA rule mentioned above.

Mosey down the breezeway again and back to the east end.

Next up – da Bear crawl, named after former Arena Pax David Barker who died last summer in a wreck caused by a drunk driver. Bear crawl part way down the breezeway, run a short distance and then bear crawl the rest of the way down the breezeway.

Next up – 11’s starting Merkins & Big Boy situps. Merkins on the east end of the breezeway and BBSU on the west end of the breezeway.

Time to get to know your pax – everyone in the wall sit position while each pax in turn told the story of how he got his F3 name.

The breezeway has numbers 1 – 4 on the columns on the east and west ends. Next the pax had to run to the west end. As they ran east, they had to stop by each sign and do that many squats. Next round was the same procedure using merkins, and the final round was BBSU.

Last, but certainly not least, the pax completed 38 Flutterkicks for Cheech, in cadence as YHC always does to wrap up a workout.

2 Corinthians Ch 9:6,7

If you sow sparingly, you will reap sparingly. If you sow generously, you will reap generously.

We are all very blessed, so reach out and help someone less fortunate.

Make it a better day for someone today!
