Pond View Road Route with PUPS and a pup

9 Pax post to run on a perfect morning for stretching the legs. temperature was 45 and clear. Everyone did a great job of safe running and thanks to the Lexington PD who were in the area being a presence. They also provided a speed sign for us on Roberts to validate our efforts, some were better than others. YHC appreciated the company of IM and Knozit at the six. I’m sure they would have been in the 8+ MPH range had they not had to hang back.

Devo: Encouragement – Hebrews 10:24-25 “24 Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. 25 And let us not neglect our meeting together as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of this return ins drawing near”

No matter how influential or mature and person may appear to be, genuine encouragement never fails to help. Encouragement is a form of appreciation and affirmation. Appreciation is for what a person does, Affirmation is for who a person is. Affirmation is deeper, rarer and more valuable. All of us need encouragement- somebody to believe in us. To reassure and reinforce us. To help us pick up the pieces and go on. To provide us with increased determination in spite of the odds.
