The Pain Train did not disappoint or discourage despite the slight derailment when YHC had a Wenkie malfunction on the warm, not so humid, overcast sky. YHC had spent some time planning the workout and felt the plan was good, however nothing ever goes as planned. Approximately 1/2 way through workout we got rained on and the humidity kicked in.

Mosey to large baseball field to where, surprise, YHC came out earlier to set up 9 traffic cones to represent 9 separate exercises.
P Prisoner Squat (5 total)
A Alternating shoulder taps (5 in cadence)
I Inch worm to next station, however YHC realized it would take too much time to go to next station. AKA derailment #1
N No brainer. PAX chooses an exercise (5) in cadence or single count depending on what was picked.
T Turkish Get ups (5 single count)
R Russian Twist (5 in cadence)
A Supposed to have been air squared, but YHC looked at wrong side of wenkie and alternating shoulder taps were done (5 in cadence). Derailment #2
I Iron Cross (5 in cadence). One of YHCs favorite. “Grab some fence.”
N No Brainer. PAX pick.
Rinse and repeat increasing the reps to 10 then 15 then 20 then down to 15 and 10 and 5.
The inch worm was replaced with Indian run for a 1/4 of the field or so. YHC forgot how to spell Pain Train a few times thus creating a few more derailments.
Moleskin: Despite the derailments the PAX endured, adjusted, adapted and overcame. Great group of guys to encourage. I get more out of them than they get out of me I’m sure. I don’t know where I would be without this fine group of men. Probably fartsacking more often that’s for sure.
