Knockout, Nevermind, We’ll Just Go Run!!!!!!!

Weather: 37 degrees and started to sleet ever slightly.

8 PAX posted at Turning Point and tested their b-ball skills and then off to some cardio/running at the helm of YHC. Here we go, off to the workout.

BOM: Prayer by Nail Pop.

The thang:

Mosey, to the basketball court.

Mosey to the free throw line for some Knockout

–          Meatball was kind enough to supply the basketballs. YHC soon found out that the PAX at Turning Point didn’t need to start in a men’s league any time soon. It was pretty bad, but it made the PAX work just a bit harder. If you get knocked out, then you must do burpees until the first round is complete. Each PAX did Jump Lunges while they waited their turn. After you got knocked out of the second round you did burpees and tuck jumps while you waited your turn. This was kind of a bust, but some work was had by all.

Mosey to the track for some team Indian Run

–          Split up in 4 man teams and run around the track at a faster than conversational pace. While the first team is running the second team is doing an exercise. Below are the exercises that were called out by the teams/PAX. Each team ran 3 laps around the track.

–          Slo-mo merkins, Smurf Jacks, Boat/Canoe, Flutter Kicks, Squats, and Plank Jacks

–          Nice work by Wapner to push thru. Proud of you brother.

Stay on the track and split up in two man teams (pair up with someone that runs your pace or will push you)

–          Each team ran a lap as fast as possible while the other teams planked and waited their turns.

–          Secondly, we ran a 1/2 lap x 2.

–          Finally, we ran a 100 yard sprint x 2.

–          Great work by all. The mumblechatter was very minimal during this endurance exercise.

Mary (Dealers Choice) – YHC asked the PAX to lead the exercises. It’s not about me. I’m just blessed to be able to lead y’all this morning.

Hello Dolly x 30 IC (Granola)

Hill Billie’s x 20 IC (Candystripe)

Monkey Humpers x 10 IC (Wapner)

Imperial Walkers till time was called (Nail Pop) these were for Lobo’s son (Finlay). YHC knows how scary having a kid with seizures can be and the tweet yesterday by KD touched me for sure.

Great job today PAX. It was a privilege to lead the PAX today and get better with each and every one of you. Everyone pushed themselves even though there was plenty of mumblechatter at the start, but it stopped shortly after our lack of skills on the court. Sounds like everyone got a good workout. Thanks for letting me lead. #getbetter #F3Counts.

BOM – Prayer led by Nail Pop.

Devo – Galatians 6: 1-2 NIV

6 Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. 2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

We cannot do life alone. YHC encouraged the PAX this morning that we are here for one another, so if anyone is struggling with something just confide in a brother and confess your sins. There is no judgment here. Remember PAX, you cannot do life alone.
