Its True, Time Does Fly When Your Having Fun!!!

After remembering at the last moment that Boneyard starts at 05:15 instead of 05:30 and not wanting to be late to his maiden Q at Boneyard, YHC sprang out of bed like it was Christmas morning. Of course it only took a moment to realize that his legs still hadn’t recovered from this past weekends encounter w/ the rocks, creeks, hills and trees of the Uwharrie Trail in the mountains of NC so the springing motion quickly turned into a ssssllllooowwww mosey motion.

After successfully getting out the door and arriving at the AO in time, YHC was met w/ 3 willing PAX, 1 FNG, looking to someway somehow be put through the ringer without running. YHC is always up for a challenge and was confident his Weinke wouldn’t let them down.

Mosey towards gym. Stop along the way for a 1 min PT test. The below exercises were performed to the # of reps depending on the result of each PAX’s PT test. For example- the 1st PAX stated the results of Merkin test and each PAX did that many of the 1st exercise. Then the next PAX stated his results of the Merkin test and each PAX did that many of the 2nd exercise. Continued in a circle and then R&R for round 2 but PAX stated the results of their Sit-Up test instead.

Mosey to workout area outside gym
-Negative Dips- x2oyo sets (5,3)
-Negative Pull-ups- x3 oyo

Lunge (instead of run) Indian Run w/ Bear Crawl (instead of running to front) along length of building. This did NOT help YHC’s legs. Lesson learned

Mosey back towards heli-pad stopping at building
-Peoples Chair 1:00 x1.5- Only 1.5 reps because half way thru rep #2, the PAX saw NoHelp come running towards them. First thought that YHC had was “Did Fieldgoal’s (Crypts Q for today) beatdown cause NoHelp to come looking for an easier or harder workout??” Obviously YHC was Oxygen deprived because not only was his thought wrong, it was also 10 minutes past the finish time. NoHelp was simply showing his ever present “Iam3rd” mentality and saving the PAX from additional pain via Mary that YHC had on his Weinke. You see, YHC normally posts at AO’s where the workout is from 5:30-6:15 so he had 6:15 as a finish time in his head. This proved to YHC that he needs to travel to other AO’s more, AS SHOULD ALL PAX. With this said, the PAX moseyed back and caught the last part of the devotion from Crypt’s COT.

Moleskin- During today’s workout, YHC encouraged the men to concentrate on form. The PAX responded well and did a great job. Thanks for letting me lead you today. Next time ill set a reminder for a 6am finish.
