I’m not a professional, but the guy who invented this workout is….

Last week while perusing the Tweeter, YHC stumbled across an article that featured a workout touted to be a fat shredding workout. Curious, I read on. It didn’t take long to see that this workout was two things; 1) not easy, and 2) what we call an AMRAP. It consisted of 5 exercises (a couple needed to be modified to fit F3 instead of a gym). Read on to see what went down….

No COP today. Time is precious and we need to get all the reps we can.

***Exercise 1 – 100 Shin Huggers (look it up, 25 in and the pax were gassed)

***Exercise 2 – 100 jump rope reps (no jump rope needed – it only slows you down)

***Exercise 3 – Original workout calls for treadmill run to burn 20 calories. Instead, we sprinted from end zone to end zone, then back.

***Exercise 4 – 10 squat thrusts with bricks

***Exercise 5 – 10 mountain climber merkins

Rinse and Repeat. Goal is to get 5-6 sets.

We started discussing yesterday making sure we are adequately hydrated. Temps are rising, humidity is sky high, and we need to make sure we have enough to drink and look out for one another. We also talked about heart rate, as the objective of this workout was to get it up there, and keep it there (at a safe level).

This workout was a real ball-buster. The pax of Cat didn’t bat an eye at the running and crushed it. Great effort put forth!
