Block Party at Crypt

Conditions: 49 degrees with a mist in the air and wet ground

15 Crypt PAX moseyed through the parking lot over toward the great wall (Thumbs Up and FNG-Creeper broke off for their F3Stroll workout)

  • SSH x 16 IC

PAX then spread out on the curb for some Booster curb hops

  • Bunny hops x 16 OYO
  • Alternating step ups x 16 each leg OYO
  • Scissors x 16 OYO
  • Hop scotch hops x 16 OYO

Next over to the great wall

  • Step ups x 16 each leg OYO- plank until all PAX are finished
  • Dips x 16 OYO- plank
  • Leg extensions x 16 OYO- plank
  • Incline merkins x 16 OYO- plank

Mosey to the Field of Dreams and grab a cinder block- everyone was invited to the block party. Details of the party:

Break up into two groups. There are two different courses (rectangles roughy 16 yds x 8 yds). At each corner perform stationery exercises below followed by moving exercises to next corner. Almost forgot, the PAX had to carry the cinder block the entire time, if at any point the cinder block hit the ground without any of the body touching the cinder block then the entire group had 5 burpees, PAX had to yell “Penalty” to cue the burpees for the group.

  1. Block bench press x 16 OYO- back pedal to next corner
  2. Kettlebell swings x 16 OYO- lunge
  3. Squats x 16 OYO- heel walks
  4. Curls x 16 OYO- high knees
    • Rinse and repeat AMRAP until YHC says time

At one point during Kettlebell swings, YHC accidentally dropped his cinder block and yelled “Penalty” for 5 burpees. Immediately No Help dropped his on purpose for another 5 burpees.

Next sequence for the block party:

  1. Shoulder shrugs x 16 OYO each arm- sprint
  2. Merkins x 16 OYO- slides
  3. Tricep extensions or shoulder press x 16 OYO- reverse lunge
  4. Plank jacks x 16 OYO- slides
    • Rinse and repeat AMRAP until YHC says time

Return blocks to pile, mosey to shovel flag for 3 MoM with Boneyard guys.

We sometimes don’t make it a priority when praying to ask God for forgiveness from our sins. As Christians, our ultimate freedom comes from being forgiven by God and by forgiving others who have sinned against us.

Make it a priority to ask for forgiveness from God, and ask for God to help you forgive others.
