14 Pax got out of their fartsacks this morning on St. Patrick’s Day! YHC is not Irish, but isn’t everyone Irish on St. Patrick’s Day? YHC made the disclaimer that we would not be finding any kegs down on the field. There were some groans of disappointment, but those groans quickly turned into groans of pain as YHC wanted to give the Pax their monies worth this morning. There is such a thing as an Irish Meatball. Ingredients call for ground beef, instant mashed potatoes, onion, thyme, oregano, milk, egg, dry mustard, salt, pepper, parsley, and Irish Whiskey-optional (yeah right, optional). However, today’s recipe called for some merkins, burpees, and sprints. None of which were optional.
Weather: 52 and cooler than was anticipated. Thanks again Weather Channel

Moleskin: It wasn’t too long ago that Turning Point’s numbers were down and it looked like the AO might not make it. However, there is a good core group of men that kept it alive and a new wave of regulars who come out 3 days a week to work hard. Today was no different. YHC didn’t bring any fancy exercises but just wanted everyone to get in a good workout. Awesome effort by everyone this morning. If you haven’t been to Turning Point, you are missing out. Endless opportunities. Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all my Irish friends out there.

Living In
If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. (NLT) -1 John 1:8
Have you ever met someone who thinks they are perfect? When in reality, we know otherwise. Especially, as a Christ follower, we are painfully aware of our own sinfulness and that of others. Even as a Christian though, we don’t always live in the truth and recognize our own sinfulness when others are acutely aware of it. Could we be fooling ourselves by not recognizing the need for God’s grace?
