A “Super” Workout

19 men posted this morning for what was to be another fun morning at The Hollow.  We had a good showing with 11 for Stridelite and 1 for Rucklite.  For some, the 45 minute bootcamp just isn’t enough.  YHC has to admit, not a lot of creativity went into this morning’s workout, but hope it brought you satisfaction.  Here’s what happened:

Weather: nice and clear with 63 degree temps.

1 minute warning, introduction, no FNG’s, disclaimer, prayer

Mosey one lap around parking lot and continue to band field and run one lap there.  0.50 mile warmup to get loose.

TTT x 17 IC
Squat x 15 IC

Mosey to the sideline for BLIMPS – complete two rounds
– 5 Burpees
– 10 Lunges
– 15 Imperial Walkers
– 20 Merkins
– 25 Plankjacks
– 30 Squats

When finished, low plank waiting on the 6. Once everyone was done, the next exercise was hydraulics. We did 10 IC. Mosey back to starting point.

Complete 10 merkins, 10 bbsu’s, 10 monkey humpers, sprint to other side, rinse and repeat. Continue for 7 minutes. The complaining started here because the grass was very wet.

Circle up for Super 21. One Merkin, one BBSU, two merkins, two BBSU. Continue until 21 reps of each. We took a pause after 11 to give our arms a break.

Line up on goal line. karaoke to mid field, turn and continue to other end, mosey back. Skip to midfield, mosey to other end. Backpedal to midfield, mosey back.

Circled back up to continue Super 21. Got to 15 reps and due to some complaining for various reasons, we moseyed to the wall for wall sits. One minute followed by bear crawl to midpoint, and crawl bear back. Wallsit x 1 min, run to other side and back. One min wall sit, run to midpoint and do 21 merkins, 21 BBSU.

Mosey back to Shovel Flag.
