I was deeply encouraged this week to see several pax organize a 3rd F opportunity in the Lexington area. After almost 6 months of posting, I agree with No Show: “F3 has changed me physically more than spiritually.” With other pax sharing the same thoughts and realizing the need to dig deeper spiritually, conversations started happening and ideas were tossed around for an additional 3rd F across town.
Before sharing details, let me first explain our motivation and goals. F3 is more than just a work out; it is intended to grow you in fitness, faith, and in fellowship. Day in and day out, pax post all over town to get their share of a good beat down. It hurts. In a good way. If you push yourself. And if you don’t, the pax to your left and right will. And it hurts. In a good way. It makes you a better man. This is exactly what we want from a spiritual standpoint. The purpose of the group is to grow you in your faith alongside your brothers and develop your relationship with God. Specifically, it will come from bible reading, group discussions, praying together, and speaking truth.
We are going to meet at a house right across from White Knoll High School from 0530-0615. That time could change, but right now it’s the best thing we’ve got. ALL pax are invited to attend each Wednesday morning, starting 2/11/15. We’ll meet this Wednesday to spend some time in prayer and discuss ideas for the way the group will be structured. We are open for suggestions!
The address is 5700 Platt Springs Road, Lexington, 29073. Take the long driveway straight across from the White Knoll Bus Area and park in the gravel in front of the house. We will gather out front and head to the basement around the left side of the house to meet.
1 John 3:16 “By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.” Let’s live this out together. Not just in the gloom.
