Words fall short of expressing YHC’s sentiment regarding today’s Q and Elsa’s furry. After a long internal dialogue and a few moments of personal self-reflection in the car, YHC decided to finish the workout – even if solo. It would be a great opportunity to test out some of my anticipated clothing for the GoRuck. Much to my surprise as I exited the warmth of the vehicle, another brave soul joined me. For the most part, YHC stuck to the original planned Q (with the exception of BBSU). The track and field were snow covered, so distances are an approximation.

- SSH x 20 – Jog 100 meters to next corner
- TTT x 20 – Jog 100 meters to next corner
- IW x 20 – Jog 100 meters to next corner
- LBAC x 20 (10 each arm) – Jog to next corner
(1) Decreasing 400-meter ladder
- Run 400 meters – 40 Merkins
- Run 200 meters – 20 Merkins
- Run 100 meters – 10 Merkins
- Run 400 meters – 40 Merkins
- Run 200 meters – 20 Merkins
- Run 100 meters – 10 Merkins
Mosey to the wide stairs
(2) Stair ladder with Squats & Derkins
- Up one flight & down – 10 Squats | Derkins at the bottom
- Rinse and repeat from bottom to top (5 flights)
- Rinse and repeat from top to bottom (5 flights)
(3) Mosey to the goal line (moved this to the track)
- Bear crawl – 50 yards
- Lung – 25 yards
- Lateral traverse merkins – 10 reps (starting position -> slide -> merkin)

Mosey to big boy stairs – two trips up and down
Mosey to school entrance to finish up under the school entrance (don’t’ judge me, we showed)

All in all it was not a bad workout given the conditions. Good stairs work and 285 merkins total.
