D-Day Remembrance Workout

8 Pax + 1 runner got out of the fartsack to honor and remember the fallen from D-Day Normandy, France 75 years ago.  This workout was inspired by those brave men who paid the ultimate sacrifice fighting evil and defending the most sacred thing this country was founded on, freedom.


Conditions: cloudy, 70 deg F

The Thang:

  • Warm-up
    • SSH x 50 IC
    • OHAC x 44 IC
    • MC x 50 IC
    • FK x 44 IC
  • Workout – Partner AMRAP (for ~ 30 minutes).  Rotate stations when station 1 is complete
    • Station 1 – Water can farmers carry 75 yds and back x 2
    • Station 2 – ammo can shoulder press x 44
    • Station 3 – 60 lb sandbag burpee clean and jerk x 6
    • Station 4 – lunge with ruck x 12 (each leg)
    • Station 5 – 50 lb sandbag squat x 44
