We even got in a little landscaping!

As dawn broke, the exhaust trails from planes were glowing PINK. No Pink Planes but was this a sign? 6 PAX posted knowing one thing, YHC was in charge of 1/2 BATTLE. Who would be filling in for the illustrious Adrian was still a mystery. No need to wait any longer. Splinter out the blocks to get blocks. May get a little tired from reading this…disclaimer!

Conditions: 32 and perfect.

Splinter lead us to the bricks, each PAX grabbed two short dongs, and ran to the BATTLE Loop pad.
Instructions were to pickup 7 Pinecones or Sweet Gum Balls. Line them up and this is how we keep count of the repeats.

Next we were instructed about the 49er workout. 7 exercises with 7 reps repeated 7 times. Probably should call it the 343er workout. YHC will get with Splinter on the math thing later. Time to get to work.

7 Side Raises (with bricks)

Throw one pinecone in the woods. Rinse and Repeat 6 more times.

Take bricks to the gate, leave them, and run out the back gate to the bottom of Atascadero DRive. Turn around and come back. 1 1/2 miles according to Map My Run. If you aren’t familiar with Atascadero, think really sucky hill to climb at the turn around point. Plank it up until the 6 arrives.

YHC had a couple of ideas for a workout but having no idea what Splinter was doing and where he would leave us, decisions had to be made at this point. Bricks needed to be returned, Splinter advised last night to avoid pull ups, so YHC decided to not listen to Splinter and pull out a workout from a couple months ago with a twist.

Run to the pull up bars for 15 pull ups.
Run out the BATTLE loop gate and pick up your bricks. Run to the courtyard for 30 box jumps.
Run with bricks to the tennis courts for 45 Merkins.
Run with bricks to the brickpile for 60 squats with bricks. Leave the bricks and repeat without bricks this time.
One loop is just under a 1/5 mile.

Run to the pull up bars for 15 pull ups.
Run to the courtyard for 30 box jumps.
Run to the tennis courts 45 Merkins.
Run to the brickpile for 60 squats with bricks.

Run to the pull up bars for 15 pull ups.
Run to the courtyard for 30 box jumps.
Run to the tennis courts 45 Merkins.
Run to the brickpile for 60 squats with bricks.
