As I stared out my window at 1 AM and watched the lightning flashes and rain pour down, I was already planning my cancellation notice for today’s workout. A Q cancellation had me hastily throwing something together the day before, even though I usually spend several hours planning my Qs and have a full set of flash cards with me. But just in case the thunder cleared away, I made sure I was ready to go and went back to bed. Sure enough, when I woke up, the rain had cleared and I begrudgingly got out of bed and drove over to Hand. With the #Cantore looming in, coming off of a holiday and with no advance promotion for today’s workout, I was expecting maybe half a dozen pax to show up. I was pleasantly surprised to see 14 men pull up, ready to start Thunder’s 2017 season on a high note. As 5:30 approached, the rain gradually got stronger and much grumbling was heard by the pax.
