9 pax arrived to #Thunder on the last day of February for a warm 60 degree work out. There was some chatter about the humidity already ramping up in Emily’s underground. Is it ever too early for a nice spring work out?
Jogging from Hand to Emily Douglas park via Wilmont, Queen, and Wheat streets. Stopping at the corners to do some warm ups:
Burpee x 5
Arm circles (front and back) with overhead claps.
Grab Blocks and partner up.
Each pair of partners does 100 Squats, 100 Big Boy Sit Ups, 100 Merkins.
While one guy does his share of the exercises the other guy runs to the other side of the field and does 5 burpees and runs back. Switch.
This is where paperboy had a near miss with a stick, in the dark, at the park. we may have missed some Merkins.
Block work: 15 curls IC, 15 squats IC, 10 overhead press IC.
Run to queen street hill. Burpee Ladder starting with 10 at the top, 9 at the bottom, ect, ect.
We didn’t quite get to zero before we had to indian run back to Hand via Blossom and King, stopping twice to do merkins.
Once at the flag we finished with 3 minutes of LBC, Flutter kicks, and russian twists.
Devo. Seeker. Good word about seeking justice (or at least watching out) for the little guy (the folks in the world who don’t always have a voice).
