For such a cold morning and forecast of hills, YHC was pleased to see 8 PAX emerge from the comforts of their sack this morning. A beautifully clear, but rather chilly morning greeted us, but the PAX was ready to roll….and roll they did! Hills are described as Speed Workouts in Disguise, and this route did not disappoint…and the PAX were showing some Speed! A shade under 5 miles were run with different PAX jockeying for the lead throughout. Consistent splits were sub-8 minutes chasing 7 1/2!!
Route: L Olde Knight, R Old Woodlands, L Indian Mound, R Sallie Baxter, L Old Woodlands, L Garners Ferry, R Montague, R Kilbourne, R Hampton Hill, across Garners Ferry and around Woodhill Circle, R Garners Ferry, R Byron, R Wormwood, L Galway, R Olde Knight back to AO.
