YHC was privileged to lead the Christmas Week Stumble PAX today, a Sogg-Fest it was, although nothing like the rain, thunder and lightning that came down after we finished (somehow F3 always finds pockets of “favorable” weather–thanks Big Guy!).
Today’s route options were away from Stumble territory, crossing enemy lines of Scramble and Amble. While Co-Pay had a fly-by with Amble, the streets around Lake Katherine were Calm and Bright (okay, really rather gloomy). Today offered an abbreviated route just less than 5 miles, or an XL option for nearly 7.5. 3 PAX opted for the shorter route, while 6 took the full route around Lake Katherine.
Route: L out of AO onto Olde Knight, R Chambly, L Queensryche, R Old Woodlands, L Garners Ferry, R Hampton Hill, L Kilbourne across Ft Jackson Blvd to Kilbourne, R Shady, L Woodlake, L Kathwood, L Sanford, L Kilbourne, R Rickenbaker, L Crowson, L Devine/Garners Ferry then back to AO. The shorter route cut-off the lake, avoided R on Shady and took L on Rickenbaker.
Most of the PAX slowed it down enough for ‘conversational-pace’ (as I said to Kenny G, the faster Stumble gets, the faster the S in our LSD gets!). Great 2nd F.
