Some old favorites always remain favorites. When called upon to Q #Ramble it’s like reaching back into years gone by to dredge up something not unique but perhaps forgotten. Such was the route du jour, a throwback to the early days of exploring Columbia from Shandon Pres. and finding gems like the Blatt Bridge and the sneaky way of avoiding Pickens Hill while still breezing through the USC athletic campus. Much has changed over there but this old route is still a goodie.
Conditions: High 50’s and surprisingly dry.

South on Woodrow to a right turn on Superior
Hook right onto Holt which becomes Superior again for the turn back up toward Rosewood.
Cross Rosewood, straight, which becomes South Marion
Cut through the chicane on Heyward (#FannieAve) and back onto South Marion
Straight on until morning… meaning straight across Whaley to the Blatt Bridge
Down the steps and right onto Wheat
Another chicane at Harden to stay on Wheat all the way to the left turn on Woodrow
Finish like you stole it

NMM:
- Solid #mumblechatter before the gun went off… and even a little more headed down Woodrow. Nice to know YHC can still dial up something even the #Ramble #Faithful find aggravating. It wasn’t THAT bad, though.
- Good bunching on the Strava Flyby. Nice to see the #Ramble pack fairly tight even at that pace. It’s a good demonstration of how much it matters who you run with.
