10 men…. well, 8 men departed Shandon Pres heading towards the University. Later, and without a route published, a few stray pax showed up and ran a route of their own. For the majority of the pax, the Pickens Half Pipe awaited.
Conditions, warm, humid, Columbia Summer.
The Thang:
Departing Shandon Pres, down Devine up Harden to Green. Green all the way to Pickens, then, 3 times, run Pickens from Green all the way to Whaley and back. After 3, return to the AO the way you came.
One lap on Pickens from Green to Whaley is almost a full mile and 190 feet of climb.
All said and done, 6 miles were put in this morning.
