8 Pax gathered in the gloom Wednesday morning to continue their push towards running excellence and domination of expanding Strava territory in Columbia. 6.5 asphalt kicking miles were on tap including a route that took us on the other side of Elmwood Avenue *gasp*. Good running by everyone.
The route:
Depart SPC down Devine to Harden. Left on Greene all the way up to South Main. Right on South Main—up and around the StateHouse. Continue on Main all the way across Elmwood (think frogger)to Franklin. Right on Franklin (nod to great new spot to eat/drink—Warmouth!) . Franklin to Marion. Right on Marion. Continue on Marion all the way back to Senate Street. Left on Senate, right on Laurens, left at pedestrian walkway at Chic-fil-A. Cross Harden—behind Tripps. Down to Santee and take left. Up Santee to Cypress. Right on Cypress to Woodrow. Right on Woodrow back to SPC.
