No run guarantee

YHC had been nursing a foot/ankle issue when I found out I had the Q this week.  I knew we had some other pax who were fighting similar issues and others that might need a P200 training break so I called for a no running Woodshed.  I thought a few others might like that idea and come out but we took our 7 guy s and got started.  Very slow mosey to the school playground.  Quick warm up.  SSHx35.  Imperial walkers x 25.  Little baby arm circles x 15 each way.  Out of no where the Legion Pax come over and commandeer our monkey bars as they work on their monthly murph.  Its always good to see the guys and this time they had put out the word that they would have more pax than the shed.  They showed up at first with 7 so we had a tie.  A few minutes later we witnessed Teddy run in so I assumed he was with the Legion group giving them the edge with 8.  Back to our workout after the warm up, slow mosey to grab blocks.  One per person.  Back out to the field so we can keep an eye on the Legion folk and exchange some words of encouragement.  Dora went like this.  Partner up for 100 merkins.  150 Big Boy sit ups and 200 squats.  When not working the other man carried two blocks down to the monkey bars and did 5 pull ups.  Carry blocks back and trade off.  During our interaction with Legion we realized that Teddy had just been running late and jumped into the first group he came to.  Teddy joined us for round two.  100 shoulder press, 150 curls and 200 bent over rows.  the man not lifting lung walks down and does 15 dips at the playground.  lung back and trade.  by the time we were wrapping up the dora it was time to put up blocks.  I was spent and we did almost no running.  Good for my foot and I got to lead a good group with some good upper body work.  Cotters to Rest Stop.  Also Teddy made 8 for Woodshed.  Not sure if Legion did their burpees the way Heehaw pledged but it was a good morning had by all.  Odyssey
