We like the manna, we like the back slapping when we’re about to puck, we like a partner that cares if we can do the fist bump merkins but makes fun of us when we miscount, we’re glad to sweat and climb concrete walls in the heat with 21 others guys who want to beat each other to the top and yet are willing to run back to the Six and mosey with him, we like a man who is leading a workout for the first time and barks out “In Cadence, Exercise!”, we like a man who’s splitting his gut trying to keep up cause he’s got a knot on his knee the size of a egg, we like a man who is coming out of his Sad Clown shell and shows more leadership skills than a 30 year veteran mid-level manager at a Fortune 500 company, we like a COT where a man says, “Your prayers are helping, I’ve been clean for six weeks and I feel great.” What’s not to like? THE THANG: Here’s the deal. YHC could type all this workout here but you got kids to feed and wives to listen to, but, what’s important to know is we worked hard and had a heck of alot of fun doing it – didn’t let up, except when it made sense due to the heat, there was lots of mubblechatter – Robber posted. And we worked In Cadence, OYO, Dealer’s Choice, and in Pairs.
One highlight was Room Mate sharing his thoughts on what F3 meant to him; strategically scheduled about half way through the Famously Hot workout. Room Mate made it clear that F3 provided friends that he’d been missing since his high school days, badly needed friendships that filled a void, friends that pushed him and held him accountable, and that the least of what F3 provided was a couple P200s, a Half Marathon, and a chiseled frame (Ok, 2 out of 3 ain’t bad).
