#Stumble PAX have spoken and requested a slightly longer mid-week run in an effort to get out of the 4-5 mile comfort zone. Plus, the #Stumble pace has improved significantly over the past year, allowing for additional mileage within the allotted time. As Q, and AOQ, YHC had the pleasure of kicking off this new format. YHC also challenged the PAX to slow the pace down for some of these longer runs. Believe it or not, running slower from time to time can make you faster (ask Holy Poker for the science behind this), plus it allows for a little more 2nd F.
The Condition: Wet and Humid
The Thang: From AO, L Olde Knight, R Chambly, L Queens Way, R Old Woodlands, L Garners Ferry, L Rosewood, R Kilbourne, R Devine to Garners Ferry, up #MOM, R Woodhill Cirlce, R Garners Ferry, R Old Woodlands, L Queens Way, R Chambly, L Olde Knight back to the AO
Total mileage was 6-6.2 depending on whose Strava feed you are looking at. Good work by the group and YHC looks forward to these longer mid-week runs as we all strive to get better.
