In the later weeks of F3 Dads in ’16 there were some slim pickings. The last Q by YHC & Company had only 3 families there. So when 7am rolled around and YHC & company were standing there alone, YHC wasn’t too surprised. We hadn’t gotten the word out enough. Some schools may still be in session. It’s the first one and we need to get it warmed up. All these excuses came to mind. YHC was disappointed, but determined to have fun. So YHC and the 2.0’s started doing the planned workout. Less happy, but a good time would be had.
This was all till McLovin trotted around the corner and said “Hey CornStache, you got a crowd waiting up front”. See YHC and company had gone to the back of Dreher and everyone else had gone to the front. Next thing, YHC sees 40+ children and dads come running around the corner with smiling faces. YHC has never been so amazed at the power of F3. YHC was all but certain that it would be 3, and only 3 pax on that day. 49, thats right 49 pax in total!! Kicked off the summer of ’17 F3 Dads style.

The thang: Circle up for SSH, merkins and running.
Then play the word search game. Rules are as follows;
- There are 4 or 5 cards spread out.
- Run to one flip it over. If it has your word bring it to the middle, if it has a letter on it flip it back over and go to another card.
- Keep flipping over cards till you find your word, then find each letter of your word in order.
- Each card also as an exercise. You must do the exercise each time you flip a card over.
We played this game 2 times. Switching up the fields.
Then we had a Crabwalk sprint race to the flag.

Moleskin:
- YHC had a great time, but so did the 2.0’s. They may love the doughnuts more then the workout, but when we got in the car to head home both my 2.0’s yelled “we love F3 dads!” This made YHC’s whole day.
