18 men showed up to take on this #CSAUP event. Most treated it like a training-run-on-steroids, while others might have been racing. Truth is the maybe-racers were so far ahead of YHC that I’m not really sure what they were doing, but they were doing it fast.
Here’s what you missed:
Conditions:
Not bad. Humidity was lower than it has been, and the route provided ample shade.
The Thang:
13.15 miles, 768 feet of gain, a Strava segment, and a legit climb up Little Mountain. The route was remote, yet easy to follow. Ample shade, more shoulder than expected, and a wicked climb up Peak Street in the last mile. It was a Doozy.
Here’s a link to the route: Hee-Haw’s Half
Moleskin:
There’s been some photos and stuff on Twitter, check out #HeeHawsHalf .
Times ranged from 1hr 46min to 2hrs 15min. Not bad for a hilly half-marathon. We also had at least one PR for distance on this run, great job Kenny G.
Great job overall, and the 2nd F was in full force.
#TClaps to the Wired Goat for taking care of us and assisting with parking. Give these folks a try if you need caffeine or food in Chapin. @WiredGoat or The Wired Goat Cafe on Facebook.
There has been ample chatter about making this a yearly thing. So, let it be. Be on the look out for a Calendar entry, cause we’re running this back every year.

That’s all…for now.
T-Claps to you for putting together a great run. Even though I was brining up the 6 and didn’t have my best run day, still had a time PR for the 1/2 distance by 6 mins. A testament to what we do at F3 and how we push and motivate each other.
Awesome!
Way to go SW!
Great work, HH.
