Spring Practice

Conditions:              Headlights On (clear and 36 degrees)23 PAX arrived at the Rectory for Spring Practice drills, inspired by YHC’s high school football glory days, when catching tail was as easy as slipping on a letter jacket.  The PAX had many mumbled questions……Did YHC actually play football?  Was it a real high school or a fancy shmancy private school?  Did YHC actually play in a game or was he Bobby Bushay?  Regardless, YHC tuned out the chatter and began the drills taught to him by his 50 year old, pot belly coach, with thinning hair, wearing too tight Ridell shorts, who barked orders like a rotweiller and blew his whistle like a fast moving locomotive.DisclaimerCOP – Warm UpSide Straddle Hop X 40 IC (Just for fun)

High Knees, Drop & Up         1 minuteThe DealFast Mosey to Union – (Stop at Mid-way point for big arm circles X 20 – forward and reverse)Arrive at Union.Run to bottom of hill (to Mill St) and perform SSH X 40 OYO.  Run backwards up hill (to Fair)
Run to bottom of hill and perform Merkins X 30 OYO.  Run backwards up hill to Fair.
Run to bottom of hill and perform BB Sit-Ups X 20 OYO.  Run Backwards up hill to Fair
Run to bottom of hill and perform Hand-Clap Merkins X 10 OYO.  Run Backwards up hill.Hold Plank, six inches, or flutter kicks until 6 arrives.Mosey back to Rectory tennis courts and partner upP1 hold plank while P2 holds legs wheel barrow style and cross to other side of tennis courts.
P1 & P2 perform 10 patty cake merkins.
Switch position for return trek across tennis courts.
P1 & P2 inter-lock legs for BB sit-ups X 10.Rinse and repeat.Mosey back to circle for up downs for 1 minute.Count-O-Ramma, COT, BOM No Announcements
