Let Your Light Shine

15 PAX braved the impending storms for YHC’s Maiden Q this morning.  We all, not so secretly, wished the storms had rolled on in so we would have to roll out of bed.Disclaimer with an extra part today about how if you hear thunder or see lightning the next, immediate and final exercise is run to your car.  While it was clear at the moment there was a real fear of a pending thunderstorm.  I was literally texting our AOQ in my car, before the work out, about how it was clear only to look up and see rain on my windshield.YHC let the PAX know that I like a theme for a workout and today’s was going to be “Let your light shine.”  I wanted to do a quick explanation and DEVO so that we would not miss out if we did get cut short.  The Let your light shine theme is bases on 4 Bible verses: Luke 8:16, Matthew 5:15, Mark 4:21, and Luke 11:33.  These 4 verses all say the same thing with slightly different wording.  They all talk about how no one would light a candle and then hide away from everyone, they would put it out for everyone to see.  Being Bible verses, these have obvious biblical themes.  We also apply them to other parts of lives.  F3 being just one of those things.  If you do something you love (I doubt we would show up to this if we didn’t enjoy it) then tell people about it.  This applies to your faith, your hobbies and any activity which brings you joy.The thangCOP8 Merkins OYO16 SSH IC4 Burpees OYO21 IW IC11 Merkins OYO33 TTT(Wood Choppers) IC, Lots of mumblechatter about how many wood choppers that is5 Burpees OYO15 LBAC IC, Forward then Backward16 Zebra Butt Kicks, OYO 8 Each legMosey to Rectory Square Drive.Indian Run towards Fair Street, Left of Fair, Left on Chesnut, Left on Lyttleton, Left into the park halfway down Lyttleton.  Run to Brick pile and head to tennis courtsLine up on long side of one tennis court, leave bricks aside for now.The routine was as to do the called movement to the middle of the courts, do called exercise, called movement to end, different called exercise, called movement back to middle, repeat middle exercise, and called movement back to beginning.  First set no bricks then alternating with bricksMovement                                         Middle Exercise                                  End/Begin ExerciseBear crawl, then Crawl Bear                 16 SSH                                              8 SquatHallelujah Run w/bricks                   5 Squat Raises                                   15 Overhead ClapsLunge Walk                                      4 Plank Jacks                                      21 High KneesBackwards Hallelujah Run            11 Squat Raises                                      33 CurlsLong Jump                                          8 SSH                                                     16 SquatsSide Shuffle                                        5 Squat raises                                    15 Overhead PressSprint                                                    4 Plank Jacks                                      21 LBACSide Lunge                                          11 Cheerleaders                               33 Tricep ExtensionsThis being my first Q and the concern of rain, I ran out of prepared material so we returned our bricks and circled up for some Dealers Choice to finish out the workout.Dealer 1: Mayhem

Luke 8: 16 “No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light.”
Matthew 5:15 “Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a basket. Instead, they set it on a lampstand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.”

Mark 4:21 “Jesus also said to them, “Does anyone bring in a lamp so he can place it under a basket or under a bed? Doesn’t he set it on a lampstand?”

Luke 11:33 “No one lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden, or under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, so that those who come in may see the light.”
