Historic first in Camden

When: 1/31/2017Conditions: slight chill with a little humidityQIC: Big WormPax: Cornwallis, Schrute, Harper Valley, Big Load, Geico, Timber, Hope Solo, Abbie Wombac, Ponzi, Neon, Sinkhole, Berry, Wojo, Dufresne, Sanford, Big Worm, FNG Jack Carrington (Peach). The Thang:DisclaimerCircle up in Rectory Square park near Fair Street. Brief warm up consisting of arm circles, overhead clap, 20 squats and 20 merkins.Then:25 Merkins in cadence; 25 flutter kicks in cadence (3 count for one rep, so really 75 flutter kicks); 12 burpees OYO; 25 LBCs in cadence (another 3 count, so really 50 LBCs). YHC observed good form on the LBCs.Then a mosey to the top of fair, down Rectory square to Lyttleton street, then back up Rectory Square to circle up again.Repeat the above four exercises, then another mosey to Fair, down Rectory Square to Lyttleton Street, and then back up Rectory Square to circle up again. The following partner exercise: The pax partnered up to complete these exercises: 200 side straddle hop, 200 squats, and 200 LBCs. One partner completes the lap from Fair Street and Lyttleton and back while the other does reps. Most of the pax (except YHC 🙁 ) completed these reps before it was time to move on to the following exercise:Lunges and pulses- one lunge, one pulse, two lunges, two pulses, etc. until 9 lunges and 9 pulses. We started on the right leg. Then the pax completed another lap of Rectory Square side street, then 25 merkins, 25 flutter kicks, and 5 burpees to call it a workout. So, some brief totals: 225 flutter kicks, 95 merkins, at least 300 LBCs, and 29 burpees, with lots of running, squats, lunges, and SSH thrown in.COTBOMMoleskin: YHC almost (actually did) forget to do the COT and BOM, so thanks to Cornwallis for bringing the guys & YHC in for this time honored tradition. A developing cold probably contributed to this forgetfulness. What a great time leading the first mid-week workout! A true addition to Historic Camden (a little hyperbole is okay). All the guys worked hard and pushed through. YHC definitely wants to make more trips in the future to this AO.
