Fun with Timber’s Timbers

YHC has had the idea of trying a work out with lumber for some time now.  It’s just too obvious having access to wood of all shapes and sizes to deal with every day at work.  At the office YHC tried 4 x 4 x 8 Pine(too light), 3 x 4 x 8 Oak(too heavy) and finally decided to bring the air dried Sap Gum 4 x 6 x 2’ blocks.  YHC’s co-workers got a good laugh last week watching him simulate F3 routines with various materials during breaks.  The timbers proved to be more than just a good play on a nickname and may even reappear at some point in the future.  He’s how it stacked up.Disclaimer (and poor attempt at a joke-Snookie bailed YHC out)Warm up: SSH IC x 25

Plank Routine (Provided by Prom)-COTClinic Classic is April 29th.  Some debate about moving Saturday boot camp to Friday because of conflict with the race. We decided to table the discussion for official word from Cornwallis.  Short Circuit reminds Pax that Coffeteria is now held at the Carolina Café.-BOMMoleskinI appreciated the hard work and willingness to try a few new things this morning. I thought my wood timbers would be the lasting impression but in fact it was our endurance on the Indian Runs in the humidity.  I think we can all thank Schrute and DuFresne’s run group for the progress.  My largest mistake of the morning was forgetting to thank Prom during announcements for his super help in getting F3 Camden established so…thank you Prom!
