It was supposed to be a massive downpour but it held off to allow us a good round of golf. 12 PAX showed up to try to win a green jacket.
Conditions: Lots of expected rain but very little; 74 degrees F

Mosey to back of school

Mosey to block pile
PAX grabbed one block and carried them back to front of school
Plan was to “play” a round of Augusta National since we never get a chance and to commemorate the start of the Masters
Course was set up just as the Masters. Holes 1-18 – Par 72. Plan was to aim for record round at Masters of 62 or better.
Each hole represented a workout. Depending on PAR of hole was number of reps x 5. In addition PAX would roll a die to add or take away number of reps (Eagle (-2), Birdie (-1), Par (E), Bogey (+1), Double Bogey (+2), and Triple Bogey (+3). So if +1 was rolled for a Par 4 it would be 4+ 1 = 5 strokes x 5 reps = 25 reps
Here’s how we ended up.
Hole 1 – Par 4 ; Score was +1 – 25 Squats
Hole 2 – Par 5 ; Score was -1 – 20 Flutter Kicks
Hole 3 – Par 4 ; Score was +2 – 30 Curls
Hole 4 – Par 3 ; Score was +1 – 20 Big Boy Situps
Hole 5 – Par 4 ; Score was -2 – 10 Dips
Hole 6 – Par 3; Score was -2 – Hole in one – 5 overhead presses – Mulligan did not want to take a mulligan
Hole 7 – Par 4; Score was -1 – 15 Mountain Climbers
Hole 8 – Par 5; Score was +2 – 35 Merkins
Hole 9 – Par 4; Score was E – 20 Smurf Jacks
Hole 10 – Par 4; Score was +2 – 30 Carolina Dry Docks
Hole 11 – Par 4; Score was -1 – 15 Step Ups
Hole 12 – Par 3; Score was -1 – 10 Block Thrusters
Hole 13 – Par 5; Score was +2 – 35 Shoulder Taps
Hole 14 – Par 4; Score was E – 20 American Hammers
Hole 15 – Par 5; Score was -1 – 20 LBCs
Hole 16 – Par 3; Score was +1 – 20 Iron Crosses
Hole 17 – Par 4; Score was -2 – 10 exercise of your choice
Before last hole we had to “walk”/run to green – took a quick mosey 100 yards and back
Hole 18 – Par 4; Score was -1 – 15 rows
Final Score = -1 for a 71. Not as good as Greg Norman in 1996 opening round but at least under par.
To finish up we closed our round with 17 or 18 burpees.
Now we had to figure out who won the green jacket. So YHC put all PAX names in Masters hat and drew. Rec won green jacket. He received a new golf glove to work on his game. State Farm discount double check. 2nd place was Blue Bloods. He received card for groceries.
Returned blocks to block pile and moseyed back to flag.
