Lunar Eclipse and a Workout at Urban Legend

YHC has been going to a Bible Study on Fridays and has had to miss Urban Legend for the past couple of months.  The study was cancelled today, which ended up working out perfectly because YHC forgot he had the Q.

It was great to be back out here.  There was a lunar eclipse going on and we discussed that for a while.  It’s interesting what you can see in God’s creation if you take time to look.  We did some low impact stuff, with some very unoriginal exercises, but the goal was to get stronger, which at least worked for YHC. Good stuff all around today.  Here’s how it went.

Conditions: Low 50’s, little windy and chilly

Devo:

At church, we are studying Paul right  now and what he wrote to the Ephesians.  Paul was desperately praying for these people and wanted them to understand how much God loved them.  In Ephesians 1: 15-19, Paul’s letters express this sentiment.  Our pastor has us ask ourselves the questions below along with adding in some points:

  • Do I understand how He sees me? He sees you as His child if you are a follower of Him.
  • Verse 19: Understand incredible greatness  of God’s power.  The same power that rose Jesus from the dead, lives in you, you can beat anything if you tap into that power.
  • Is God’s resurrection power real in my life?

Are we creating a relationship with God that allows us to understand these points?
