Weather – a little on the moist side in the mid 60’s
So after a few weeks away because of some government agency told me I needed to lay on the couch for a couple of weeks and watch tv, YHC finally was able to post back at Clash. And since it had been over a month since I had the chance to sling the disk….well you know what we did.
Separating the teams out as those that had on red and those that didn’t, the red team was short one pax and was glad to see JDee roll in to make the teams even. And since they were down 2 already….it was a welcome addition. Now to the highlights!!!
Pothole had a great trigger finger this morning as not once, but twice giving five fakes before throwing for goals. One under YHC could have been close to the five hole…but the foot block gave Pothole a little more room to shoot.
Not sure if the dew on the ground was the cause or just that the pax have played frisbee the last three weeks, but there were a lot of errant throws and I am sure a few choice words after some of the bad throws. While YHC likes to give credit for great defense (aka FN3 and Double Fault), it is always easier when the frisbee is just thrown right at you.
While the red team appeared to be in charge for most of the game, it really was a game of streaks. Up two, tied, up four, tied again with minutes to play. It ended up on the final goal being the difference as some of that previously mentioned defense showed up and a fast break goal was scored and a win for the non reds.
Lastly, I want to thank those pax that reached out to me during the virus mess. I ended up with a pretty bad case and your prayers were definitely felt. Shout out to Pepto for the drugs too! (I added just to see if he is reading this….)
COT (once we figured out how to count)
Announcements – Frisbee tomorrow at SnakePit (probably), handball at the Ocho on Sunday.
Prayers – Notebook, Penny Stock with a work presentation next week
