Changing of the Qs

It has been almost a year since YHC has been able to Post on a consistent basis. For the past year work has interfered. YHC was lucky to post 2x a month over the Summer. Well things have changed a bit and now I’m able to post on the more consistent basis.  PETA has been talking about passing on the shovel flag and asked me if I would be willing to take over. YHC was flattered and willing to take over duties. Looking forward to help lead these men to continue to get better. Not just in their fitness, but in their fellowship with one another, and growing their faith! The men of Snakepit hold a special place in YHC’s heart. Looking forward to see what the future holds for us all! Thanks PETA for trusting me to take over for you!

All of that said, YHC signed up to lead the PAX. Earlier this week we put the big boys stairs to good use and put in work for the 911 fire fighter challenge. 2200 stairs in honor of the men and women who died. When we met on Tuesday for IPC. We were all complaining about how sore our legs were. Well, Wednesday it got worse. YHC decided that on Thursday we needed to get back on the stairs and work some of that soreness back out.  So, after work, we went!

  • Mosey down to far end of parking lot. High knees and butt kicks along the way. Circle up.
  • SSH x 10 IC
  • LBAC 10 Forward 10 reveres IC
  • Seal Claps x 10 IC
  • Chinooks x 10 IC
  • Moroccan nightclubs x 10 IC
  • Through the tunnel  (Tinkle style) x 10 IC
  • Abe Vigoda x 10 IC
  • Mosey to step in between football field and practice field.

 

The Thang:

Crawl bear down the steps. 

-Triple Nickel- 5 burpees at the bottom, 5 Sumo/slow Mo squats at the top. (Technically YHC said slowmo).

-Grab some stairs and let’s work those calves a bit more with some Calf Raises. Toes Forward, toes pointed out, toe pointed in ~all x 10 IC.

-Next up CINDY- 5 pull ups, 10 dips and 15 squats. Rinse and repeat for 20 min.

-Mosey back to Shovel Flag. Shuffle Righ/Left on the way back.
