Weather: 45 degrees, rain coming but not present

Happy Veterans’ day and a big thank you to all of our veterans out there. Three pax showed up at the start, and we finished with four. Perfect running weather – rain did not start until afterwards.
Unfortunately, we saw almost as many dead deer on the road (2) as we had pax.
Nevertheless, the morning was filled with fitness and fellowship and some faith. In case you were wondering, Wilbur grew up on a farm in Iowa, and Pick Ax is a UNC-Charlotte 49er.
The pax headed out to the dam and back. On the way back we tried to EH a runner, but it turned out he was from F3 Strut – Loose Screw. More good fellowship, though.
