Urban Legend Runs a BRR Bootcamp

With the BRR starting today and YHC experiencing FOMO, the men of Urban Legend did our best to simulate as many BRR legs as we could bootcamp-style. Godspeed to our guys running the mountains this weekend.

Here’s what we did:

Conditions: 76 degrees, 70% humidity

The Thang:


Mosey to amphitheater

SSH x 10 IC
Slow TTT x 5 IC

BRR Bootcamp: 1 trip = up and down amphitheater steps; exercises at top and bottom; each leg corresponds with actual BRR legs

Leg 1 – Easy – 3.9 miles
4 trips / 10 merkins up, 10 squats down

Leg 2 – Hard – 7.5 miles
7 trips / 5 burpees up, 5 box jumps down

Leg 3 – Moderate – 5.2 miles
5 trips / 7 iron crosses up, 7 squat jumps down

Leg 4 – Hard – 6.9 miles
7 trips / 5 burpees up, 5 box jumps down

***Unfortunately, ran out of time and couldn’t complete all 36 legs in 45 minutes***
