Try Out Saturday at TP

7 Pax posted for a workout YHC decided to tryout.  There was much complaining, so its considered a success.  Here is what went down.

Conditions: 70s and cool

The Thang:

*** YHC had some Alarm issues, but notified the AOQ prior to the start of the Workout.  YHC arrived 10 minutes late, so there is no record of the COP, however, the last exercise YHC witnessed driving in was Mountain Climbers.  Cobains to the pax. TClaps to Booster executing the duties of the AOQ, now lets get on to the workout. ***

Devo:

As I prepared this week for The Forge topic on Shorties/2.0s, the following passage came to mind:

“Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!”
Matthew 7:9-11 NASB

I can remember reading this passage back at the beginning of College and it changed my understanding of God’s Character and what he was about.  I am blessed to have an earthly father that I knew wanted the best for me, so what an encouragement to know that our Heavenly can do that and so much more.  Perhaps you didn’t have an earthly to help make that leap of faith.  If not, take a minute to think about who you would provide for your kids, and then you can see a picture of who God is even more.
