The Ole Hilly Crusade Loop

14 Pax got better this morning by defying the fartsack.  An email went out earlier this week from Jenny Coker to support Walker as he heads to Duke this week by wearing our Walker Strong shirts today.  YHC knows how much Nailpop loves to run hills, so the “hilly” route was planned.

Conditions: 55 and great for running.

Disclaimer, count off, go over route.

The Thang:
Leave Pilgrim Lutheran Church and make a left onto N. Lake Drive heading towards Old Cherokee. Make a left onto Old Cherokee and run up the “small” hill.  Make a left into the Publix parking lot and continue through the parking lots all the way to Lowes.  Make a left onto Whiteford Way.  Continue straight down Whiteford Way until you reach N. Lake Drive. Make a right onto N. Lake Drive and head back to Pilgrim Lutheran Church.  Total distance approx. 4.3 miles.  Two pax added a little extra with part of the “Lollipop” loop mixed in.

Moleskin:
A great showing by the pax this morning.  All 14 finished the loop.  Great to see new faces coming out and great to see some old faces making their way back out.  This group continues to get better/faster each week.  Soon we will have to start planning some 5 mile routes.

Name-O-Rama
We had one rename today.  Will Allen was named John Boy at TP, however, there is already a John Boy.  Therefore a rename was in order.  Will is the oldest of 8 kids > Brady Bunch > Marsha.
