The first Donut Run of the year is under the books.
Weather was a perfect 48 degrees.
After a long absence, YHC brought back the Donut Run. It just seemed like we needed a change of scenery and kind of converge running groups for a change.
I mentioned that the Donut Run was the main reason I joined Twitter 3 years ago. It seemed every time I showed up to run at Stride or Crusade, no one was there because they were at either the Dam Run, or the Donut Run. We use to do either once a month. I checked the Q sheet and noticed there hasn’t been a Donut Run ALL YEAR. This was unacceptable! So I took over the Q sheet and put it down the first Friday that had openings for every running group.
We had a great turnout with 29 PAX and did the usual down to Target and back route. Suprisingly, the donuts where not the only thing that brought everyone out, as Chedda, Tiger Blood and I were the only three that made it up to Crispy Creme.
Special thanks to all the QIC’s that put the word out. I will try to make this more frequent than once a year.
