YHC was trying to think of something different and somehow noticed a box of 36 tennis balls in the store the other day and thought “hmm, that could be fun.” So, after looking at the box for a couple of weeks, it was time to bring them out. I suggest you all go get some; it was fun, it was tough, and the mumble chatter about holding and squeezing these things is priceless.
Nice work Babe for a 4 mile stride lite this morning, and a PR 10K on Sunday
Weather: 30ish
Disclaimer & Prayer
All 8 PAX grabbed a tube of tennis balls (3) and headed to the practice field. Drop the balls at the goal line (that’s no longer there), mosey to the block pile and return with a block.

Round 1:
Place 1 ball on the ground and hold the other 2 balls in your hands.
Accountability Merkins x 15 on my count (balls in your hands and bringing your chest to the other ball on the ground really adds strain)

Round 3:
Grab one tennis ball and get on your six. Lift back/shoulders and legs off the ground (similar to a V-Up position). Lift right leg and pass the ball from right hand to left hand, then move to complete the same on the left side. I think we named these Pass Balls (not sure why)

OK, enough with the balls, well maybe not. 10 Burpees OYO with balls in your hands. By now, we were all struggling.
Circle up with the blocks and get on knees. Attempt to complete Block 11s failed miserable. I think I need to try this at the start of the workout next time.
Block 11’s (we only made is about half way before time was up).
1 overhead press with block (stay on knees).
10 Merkins on the blocks
2 Overhead presses with block (knees)
9 Merkins on the blocks (I think this is when Nub already said he was a girl and was on his knees completing Merkins. Between that comment, and YHC’s struggle to count during these exercises, most PAX were laughing which didn’t help the pain we were in).
We made it to 6 overhead presses and 5 Merkins.
Return blocks, pickup balls and mosey to the flag.
