Surprise Leg Beatdown

Weather: a balmy 66 degrees and wet, although some PAX were dressed for 20 degree temps

Run lap around school to get the blood flowing

Grab blocks from block pile and line up in the driveway to the school at the bottom of the hill

20 Shoulder Presses, Run backwards up hill to the school entrance and knock out 20 Monkey Humpers, Run back down the hill and repeat, dropping Shoulder Press reps by one each lap and keeping reps of Monkey Humpers at 20 the entire time. Called it for time after 13 laps.

Of note, Floppy Disk offered his services in counting the monkey humpers to keep the group in sync.

What started out with PAX mumbling about shoulder burnout quickly turned to complaints about the surprise leg workout.  There’s something about running uphill backwards and 240 monkey humpers…

Great work by the PAX to push through the pain and encourage each other.
