With the Superbowl coming up, the Turning Point Pax got a little NFL combine style workout to prepare them for the upcoming football weekend. 8 PAX got better and proved their worth to onlookers in attendance.
Weather- 35 and windy
The THANG-
Mosey down to block pile, grab a block. Head to the middle of the field for COP:

Split into 2 groups of 4 for NFL combine drills
- 3 cone drills- set up blocks and do the 3 cone drill (sprinting) one at a time while the others planked. Rinse and repeat. Then bear crawl. Then crab walk.
- Vertical jump- instead of touching the measure tape like the NFL guys do, we did squat jumps as a group. 160 total.
- 40 yard dash- sprint 40 yards, 10 squats, sprint back 40 yards. Had a lot of 4.4 speed out there.
- 20 yard shuttles- set up the blocks and sprint the shuttle- everyone at once for speed.
- Horizontal jump- broad jump to the blocks and back for distance
- Bench press the blocks to failure. Then do 20 merkins
- 20 curls for the girls IC
- 20 dips IC
Head back to the block pile and mosey up to the flag for 3 mins of Mary.

DEVO:
Been reading in 2 Samuel lately. In chapter 12, verse 16- it says that David PLEADED with God. I asked the PAX to examine their prayer life- when can they say they felt they were praying to God with the passion that can be described as “pleading”. I find myself too many times putting my prayers on “autopilot”. Pray with passion.
