Block Work at The ‘Pile

Not much time for expounding today, but here’s what we did – it was tough and effective, and the Pax did a great job working through it. In the opinion of YHC, this workout is a great “go-to” and a good one to repeat occasionally. Believe it or not, we covered almost 2.3 miles in this workout without going anywhere.

Conditions: 38 and stupid windy

The Thang

Run directly into the wind to the back parking lot by the brick cage

  • at the back lot parking loop do 2 Sprint-Jogs (jog the 1st straightaway, sprint the other side of the loop)

Get Blocks, line up Blocks 30yds from the goal line

Countdown Circuits, 10, 10, 9, 9, etc., plank for the 6

  • 10-5, Merkins at the goal line, run 30yds, Squat Thrusters at the blocks
  • 10-5, Squats at the goal line, run 30yds, OH Press at the blocks
  • 15-10, Jump Lunges at the goal line, run 30yds, Curls at the blocks
  • 9-5, Burpees at the goal line, run 30yds, Kb Swings at the blocks

Continue running to front of school
