Just a few dudes doin the 0500 grind – gettin ready for #GrowRuck07. The only way to get better is to get busy… with a bag ‘o bricks and a chunk of power pole. And that’s just what we did.
Welcome, Disclaimer, and BOM
The Warmup:
*Head to the knoll by the poles for COP:
-Squats X 10 IC
-Windmill X 10 IC
-Drop rucks and low-crawl through the grass – run a 0.25mi parking lot lap – reverse-low-crawl back up the hill to your COP position.
-Burpees X 10 IC
Get movin:
PAX on your 6 an arm-length apart. Pass your ruck and the “bonus bag” (every brick YHC could get his hands on, ca. 60#) to the PAX on your left and bearcrawl to the end of the line to accept the next offering. Rinse & repeat for about 50 yards.
“Log” a few miles:
Y’all ruck up! Two PAX shoulder the 6’ pole chunk and head towards Main St. Third PAX brings the bonus bag. Rotate as-needed along Main St. to Corley St. and down to Corley Park.
Intermission:
Drop the log and the rucks and forward-leaning-rest with feet pointed uphill.

-Merkins X 10 IC – Rotate 90deg
-Merkins X 10 IC – Rotate 90 deg
-Merkins X 10 IC
Jailbreak back to the woodpile for LBAC X 40 IC cool-down.

*Heavy things… A friend and local restaurateur took his own life last Friday. An outwardly friendly, motivated, and spiritual individual. Our prayers are with his friends and family, and we should all remain mindful of others who may be struggling despite a positive outward appearance.
