The Thang:
Intro, Disclaimer, Prayer
YHC took an XL run prior to Crusade, and given the rainy conditions, expected to find 5 or 6 Pax waiting in the circle upon my return. YHC obviously underestimated the will power of the Crusade pax since there were 25 men ready to go.
Since it is almost BRR time, the Whiteford route was chosen. Head all the way up to 378. Non-BRR runners could run around the Lowe’s parking lot. BRR runners came back down, turned right and headed into Saluda Springs for more hill work and then back to the start.
Strong showing and great effort today despite the nasty weather.
We even had a drive-by from Floppy Disk and Pew in the midst of their 10-miler. Shake & Bake showed up, too – not sure if he was with FD & Pew or late to arrive at Crusade.
Spackle alleged that he finished in front of Ranger, but we will have to go to the video monitor and watch the replay to confirm that.
