A Brisk Stride

9 PAX met in the Lexington magistrate parking lot on a cool, crisp morning and 10 returned at the end of the run. Kukoc arrived late and chased the Stride PAX all over west Lexington and met back at the shovel flag at the end of the run.

The Route Thang:
– Depart the parking lot toward Main St. and take a right on East Main, which becomes Augusta Rd.
– Left on Whispering Winds Dr. and run the loop through the neighborhood.
– Left on Augusta Rd., which becomes East Main.
– Left on West Main/Columbia Ave.
– Left on George St.
– Left on Gibson Rd.
– Left on Roberts St.
– Left on Church St.
– Right on Maiden Ln., back to the shovel flag.

-Leo’s Pride 5K/Go Leo Go 5k at Saluda Shoals – 10/20 – can race. can volunteer. It’s a race in recognition of Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
-F3 Palmetto Place is a new AO established for Sundays at 4pm at the Palmetto Place Children’s Shelter. This is a collaboration between F3 Columbia and F3 Lexington. Great opportunity to mentor some youth and workout. Can offer weekly commitments or monthly commitments. We know how great this is for us; think about the positive impact we can make on the youth who needs our guidance even more.
