BOM/Devo
There have been multiple times where I have been praised for my physical strength. I have accomplished many things based on my physical strength.
However, when I thought back to my most difficult times…physical strength meant nothing. It didn’t matter how much I could lift, how many reps I could crank out, how fast I could run, etc. I found out that where I needed strength, I didn’t have it and was weak. My spiritual strength and faith was weak.
Thankfully, I have grown. I have become stronger, largely in part to F3 and the #HIM that surround us all daily. To get that strength I had to humble myself, realize I was weak, and rely on something outside of my strength. I had to rely on God and the true strength he provides.
That strength comes from putting on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:11). Without that armor, I’m weak and vulnerable. With the armor that God provides us all, I’m stronger.
So where it matters most, are you strong or are you weak? I’m not as weak as I used to be, but I’m not nearly as strong as I want to be.
