You Feeling Lucky???

Nine “Gibor or Gibborim” (Look it up) gathered this morning to sharpen one another. What better way to do it than a game of cards. Although the PAX were hoping for a game of Texas hold ’em, we played a little round robin that included Super Burpees, Merkin Jacks, Sit-ups or LBC’s and Drop Squats. They each got to pull a card determining our fate. We only got through 40 of the 54 cards this morning before we ran out time. I take the blame for that because of all the yapping I was doing before we got started, BUT next time we will finish and it will be fast!
CONDITIONS: 50-ish

THE THANG:

Circle up in the end zone.

PAX took turns drawing from deck and performing exercises as stated below-

Spades = Super Burpees (crowd pleaser)
Clubs = Drop Squats
Hearts = Merkin Jacks
Diamonds = Sit-ups or LBC’s

Aces = one lap around the track
2 = Double the last card pulled
3 through 10 = Face value Reps
Jack – King = 10 reps
Joker = 1 minute rest

Mosey back to front of gym

Moleskin: Mumble chatter was at a premium when we started as PAX anxiously anticipated what form of pain they’d be receiving next. Chatter quickly faded with every Spade drawn as the Super Burpee did it’s toll on the PAX. Like all PAX YHC has led, the PAX fought though all pain and put forth a great effort.
