Conditions: 45* and for exactly 1 hour no rain
The THANG:
YHC woke up Sunday morning to the sound of rain wondering what would unfold for his group of wanderers who have for the first 2 months had good weather.
I arrived in the parking lot of the Irmo side of the dam to find 4 other cars and willing pax ready to get some miles under our rucks.
As soon as my car was put in park the drizzle stopped…….
we gathered and discussed the route….due to the rain YHC called an audible…..out and back down Lake Murray Blvd towards Irmo…….There is a bike lane and side walk….no need to walk on roads with limited shoulders in the rain….I hope future Q’s keep this in mind.
As I looked around a man walked up to our group…..he has been spoken about in the highest of reverence. It was the one and only Pajanimal.
We shoved off and busted out 3.25 hilly miles. Was a good time had by all.
………as I got back in my car and put it into gear the rain began again…..Somehow for 1 hour we were spared.
Coffeteria followed with 4 of the 5 of us going…..the conversation hit more spectrums of conversation then one could imagine. I always look foward to Sunday mornings….great 1st and 2nd F.
